Why did I want to work for the Skills Centre?  I see a lot of these same traits in the people who work here making for a very positive and fun work environment.  This job incorporates the skills I have developed in the education, training workshops I present, and volunteer activities I have done over the past 10 years.

Why did I want to work for  the Skills Centre;  I love the whole concept of Person Centered Plans, and a such  I have always enjoyed helping people to draw out their aspirations for their futures and then  to guide the process of turning dreams into  goals with  achievable, attainable steps.  I believe this is a very empowering process.  I am delighted to be a able to share this process with others and to be a part of the  skills centre team!
