An introduction to our organization
The Skills Centre opened their doors in 1997, back then we were a different organization than we are today. Twelve years ago our staff consisted of three people and we held one small contract, today our staff consists of 14 people and we hold several diverse contracts from customized training to social enterprise.
In 1997 we were one of 20 original Skills Centre’s that opened their doors, today we are one of four remaining Skills Centre’s that exist in the province. The Skills Centre not only exists but thrives today due in-part to our strong private, public, and other non-profit partnerships as well as the fact that our dedicated staff continually work towards a diversity of services.
