Case Managers can work with you to assess your needs, employment goals and eligibility for Financial Supports for Skills Training, Job Search & Job Start supports (equipment, clothing or transportation for a new job), as well as Career Assessments, Workshops for job search skills, and Specialized Assessments.
Other options, based on need and eligibility, may include Self-Employment Services, or customized work experience placement services such as Wage Subsidy or job creation partnerships.
With the personalized, one-on-one support of a Case Manager, we can help you to achieve your job search, career development, and training goals.
Eligibility is assessed on an individual basis and many of our one to one services are free, but for most Employment Insurance funded services you must be:
Unemployed, or currently working fewer than 20 hours per week
Currently on Employment Insurance (EI) benefits, OR have had an EI claim in the past 5 years, OR have had an EI parental claim in the past 5 years
Legally entitled to work in Canada
People with disabilities may be eligible for some services without the EI attachment
